Really nice park that has everything. A garden, volleyball courts, dog off leash park, fitness area, basketball courts, running tracks, kids area and washrooms, just a great amazing park. It needed more trees but they just planted new ones! Soo beautiful.
Decent sized off leash dog park for the neighborhood. It is tucked away in the corner behind the courts. At one side of the gate, it is on a bit of a hill and the gate is quite low. I saw one medium sized dog was able to jump over it. There are two entrances with the double gates and a water fountain can be found there. Wood chips and dirt instead of grass!
A nice park with playgrounds, walking and running paths, a dog park, football field and basketball courts and picnic spots. The large enough, not too huge though, but has a good connectivity for the city of Toronto. I go here almost daily, there are people skating, cycling, walking, jogging, walking their dogs, playing with kids or just having a peaceful family time.
Tidy, shady, friendly off-leash dog area in back (south end) of Earlscourt park. Big enough for my good sized lab x2 to run around (with the bunches of other dogs). Wood chip base (great drainage!) with lots of mature trees, a couple of benches and lots of shade (full mature trees - a real bonus in an urban dog park). Very friendly dog walking people and bins with spare balls and dog bags etc. Pen overlooks a big slope and feels isolated so barking dogs are less likely to be disturbing other people - so welcome for a city dog park (other side of the dog pen is a TTC equipment area, so also fine with barking).
Top marks for a city on-leash area - beautiful, friendly and well equipped.
Note also that the grassy areas outside of the off-leash pen are surprisingly extensive and well maintained - this park behind the Joseph Piccinnini center has everything.
A clean and shaded dog park that has ample room for dogs to run. It's wood chip covered and has a water fountain available. Some of the fencing around the perimeter is quite low in spots and I've seen a large breed dog jump over it with ease. Would like to see that addressed, but otherwise a great dog park. Friendly dogs and people! My mini schnauzer always has a blast!
Spacious accessible and suitable for several types of gatherings. Great for family picnics with a good playground.
Fantastic green space
Puppies, rescues, dogs, other all welcome.
Also a wonderful park for people, reading, sports, games, other creative activities to enjoy the times
I love this park because it is in close proximity to my house. For winter, it is the best park to take my dogs. The ground is covered in wood chips, which is great. Other dog parks are muddy. It is completely off leash. Parking is not reliable as there is not many parking spots.
